Terms
Terms of Use
The terms for using Wellence. Plain English where we can, precise where we must.
Effective 9 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are between Wellence Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15287383), 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF ("Wellence", "we", "us"), and the organisation that uses Wellence ("Customer", "you"). They cover the Wellence app at app.wellence.ai, its connection to Claude, and related services (the "Service").
By requesting access, signing in or using the Service, you agree to these terms on behalf of your organisation, and confirm you're allowed to. If a separate signed agreement or order form exists, it wins where it differs from these terms. Wellence is for businesses, not consumers.
2. Words we use
- Users: the people your organisation lets use the Service, including guests added to a task.
- Agents: AI agents set up in Wellence to do work for your organisation.
- Customer Data: everything your organisation and its Users put into the Service.
- Output: what agents and the Service produce from Customer Data.
3. Accounts and access
Your organisation has a workspace. Its admins decide who joins, what they can see and what agents can do. Users sign in with a link sent to their work email, so keep work email accounts secure. You're responsible for what your Users do in the Service and for removing people who should no longer have access.
Wellence is in early access. Features may change, be added or be removed as we improve the Service, and we'll tell you about significant changes.
4. Your right to use Wellence
We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your organisation's internal business purposes during your subscription, under these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not let anyone:
- use the Service unlawfully, or to harm, harass or discriminate against anyone;
- put in content you don't have the right to use, or that's malicious;
- copy, resell, reverse-engineer or rebrand the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- try to get around its security, access controls or usage limits;
- use agents to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person without human review;
- break Anthropic's usage policies when using its models through Wellence.
We may suspend access to stop misuse or protect the Service, and we'll tell you why.
6. AI agents and their Output
Agents use AI, and AI can be wrong or incomplete. Review Output before you rely on it or share it. Agents ask a named person before anything is sent, posted or changed, and you're responsible for the decisions your people make with Output.
As between you and us, you own the Output. We don't use Customer Data or Output to train AI models, and neither does Anthropic for data sent through its API.
7. Your data
You own Customer Data. You give us permission to process it only to provide, secure and support the Service. Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms and covers how we process personal data for you. Our Privacy Policy covers the data we use to run our own business.
You're responsible for having the right to put Customer Data into the Service, including a lawful basis for any personal data. Admins can download or delete Customer Data at any time from Settings.
8. Claude and other services you connect
You can connect Wellence to your own Claude, use your own Anthropic key, and let agents use tools you've connected. Those services are provided by others under their own terms and charges, and we're not responsible for them. Runs in your own Claude use your Claude plan.
9. Fees and AI spend
Fees are set out in your order form or commercial agreement. Budgets in Wellence help you see and manage AI spend: they alert an agent's owner when it goes over, so they can pause it, carry on or raise the budget. They don't stop spend on their own.
10. Our intellectual property
We own the Service and everything in it apart from Customer Data and Output. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Wellence without owing you anything.
11. Confidentiality
Each of us keeps the other's confidential information confidential and uses it only for this relationship, except where the law requires otherwise.
12. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during early access. For help, use Get help in the app or email support@wellence.ai.
13. Ending
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may end or suspend it for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, unpaid fees, or if the law requires it. When it ends, download anything you need first: we delete Customer Data as set out in the Data Processing Agreement.
14. Warranties
Apart from what these terms say, the Service is provided "as is", and we don't give other warranties, for example that Output is accurate or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
15. Liability
Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising under these terms. Each party's total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll tell you about significant changes at least 30 days before they apply, by email or in the app. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
17. General
These terms, the Data Processing Agreement and any order form are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Neither of us may transfer them without the other's consent, except as part of a merger or sale of a business. They're governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide any disputes.
